Abstract

We provide an extensive description of the poorly known ranid species Odorrana gigatympana (Orlov, Ananjeva et Ho, 2006) based on new collections from central Vietnam, including the first known females. The distribution range of the Large-Eared Frog, which so far was only known from the type locality in Kon Tum Province, is herein extended based on our new records from Thua Thien Hue, Quang Nam, Gia Lai, and Phu Yen provinces in Vietnam.
