Abstract

Sharp estimates for the behaviour of solutions of the Poisson problem under homogeneous Dirichlet boundary conditions are derived for domains that contain a cone-like boundary part. As an application we are able to state an anti-maximum type result on such domains. (C) 2014 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
