Abstract

Schwarzsein sowie anti-Schwarzer Rassismus in Iran werden nicht nur von der iranischen Dominanzgesellschaft unsichtbar gemacht, sondern auch von der Wissenschaft. Deswegen ist es umso wichtiger, sich diesem Thema anzunehmen und zu untersuchen, inwiefern das iranisch-nationale Selbstverständnis der Dominanzgesellschaft mit diesem Rassismus zusammenhängt. Tradierte Ideologien wie der „Arier“-Mythos und das sogenannte „Siyah Bazi“ (z. Dt. „Schwarz Spielen“) geben Aufschluss über eben diese koloniale Kontinuität in der iranischen Dominanzgesellschaft und werden in aktuelle Kontexte, wie zum Beispiel in den der sogenannten „Bandari Music“ gesetzt. Letztendlich soll sich jedoch nicht ausschließlich in einem national isolierten Rahmen mit anti-Schwarzem Rassismus beschäftigt werden. Vielmehr soll ein Bewusstsein dafür geschaffen werden, wie unterschiedliche Rassismen miteinander zusammenhängen, sich gegenseitig bedingen und aufrechterhalten.

Translated abstract:	Abstract Language Blackness and anti-Black racism in Iran are not only made invisible by the Iranian dominant society, but also by academia. Therefore, it is all the more important to address this issue and to examine the extent to which the Iranian national self-image of the dominant society is connected to this racism. Traditional ideologies such as the "Aryan" myth and the so-called "Siyah Bazi" (i.e. "playing black") provide information about this colonial continuity in the Iranian dominant society and are placed in current contexts, such as that of so-called "Bandari Music". Ultimately, however, the aim is not to deal with anti-Black racism exclusively in a nationally isolated framework, but rather to create an awareness of how different racisms are interrelated, mutually dependent and perpetuated.
