Abstract
In der Arbeit werden verschiedene Ansätze für die Erklärung des optionalen Gebrauchs des Genitivs der Negation im Russischen miteinander verglichen: quantitative (Pesetsky 1982; Pereltsvaig 1999), syntaktische (Junghanns 1995; Kim 2002; Bailyn 1997) und semantische (Babby 1980; Partee/Borschev 2007, 2011; Kagan 2005, 20010, 2013; Padučeva 1997, 2006). Um festzustellen, welcher Ansatz die größte Erklärungsmacht hat, werden 486 schriftliche und 474 mündliche Korpussätze ausgewertet. Die Datenanalyse zeigt, dass sich die Kasuswahl in den meisten Fällen mit dem lokalen Ansatz von Padučeva erklären lässt, auch wenn bisweilen weitere Ergänzungen notwendig sind, zum Beispiel um das Perspectival Center nach Partee/Borschev (2007, 2011).

In order to determine which approach has the greatest explanatory power, 486 written and 474 spoken corpus sentences are evaluated. The data analysis shows that in most instances, case choice can be explained by Padučeva’s local approach, even if further additions are sometimes necessary, e.g. to include the perspectival center according to Partee/Borschev (2007, 2011).
