Abstract

Der Zwei-Jahresbericht (2024/2025) des Interdisziplinären Zentrums für empirische Lehrer*innen- und Unterrichtsforschung (kurz: IZeF) informiert über die vielseitigen Aktivitäten des Zentrums. Hierzu gehören aktuell über 30 drittmittelgeförderte Forschungsprojekte in den folgenden thematischen IZeF-Forschungsgruppen: (1) Kompetenzmessung, (2) Sprachliche Bildung, (3) Medien und Digitalisierung (4) Psychische Gesundheit in Bildungseinrichtungen, (5) Persistenz und Wandel von Schule, Unterricht und Lehrer*innenberuf sowie (6) die Emerging Group „Proving the Effectiveness of Teacher Education“. Das IZeF und seine Aufgaben werden im Bericht ausführlich dargestellt. Hierzu gehören die Darstellung der Arbeit in den Forschungsgruppen und -projekten sowie der Emerging Group, die Förderung von Wissenschaftler*innen in Qualifizierungsphasen, die Zusammenarbeit mit Kooperationspartner*innen, die Publikationen zur vertieften Lektüre, der Austausch im Rahmen verschiedener Veranstaltungen, wie z. B. interdisziplinärer Workshops sowie weitere aktuelle Entwicklungen und zukünftige Perspektiven. Das „Interdisziplinäre Zentrum für empirische Lehrer*innen- und Unterrichtsforschung“ ist eine wissenschaftliche Einrichtung der Humanwissenschaftlichen Fakultät der Universität zu Köln und feierte 2024 sein 10jähriges Bestehen. Es führt einschlägige Forschungsaktivitäten zusammen, die in enger Kooperation der Bildungswissenschaften (Erziehungs- und Sozialwissenschaften, Psychologie), der Sonderpädagogik sowie der Fachdidaktiken durchgeführt werden. Translated abstract:	Abstract Language The biennial report (2024/2025) of the Interdisciplinary Center for Empirical Research on Teachers and Teaching (IZeF) provides information about the Centere's diverse activities. This currently includes over 30 third-party funded research projects in the following thematic IZeF research groups: (1) Competence Measurement, (2) Language Education, (3) Media and Digitalisation, (4) Mental Health in Educational Institutions, (5) Persistence and Change in School, Teaching and the Teaching Profession, and (6) the Emerging Group "Proving the Effectiveness of Teacher Education". The IZeF and its tasks are described in detail in the report. In addition to the work in the research projects and the Emerging Group, this includes the support of academics in qualification phases, cooperation partners, publications, the exchange within the framework of various events, such as interdisciplinary workshops, as well as other current developments and future perspectives. The "Interdisciplinary Centre for Empirical Teacher and Classroom Research" is a scientific institution of the Faculty of Human Sciences at the University of Cologne and celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2024. It brings together relevant research activities that are carried out in close cooperation between the educational sciences (education and social sciences, psychology), special education and subject didactics.
