Abstract

The "Cologne Manual on the International Law of Space Traffic Management – für die sichere und nachhaltige Nutzung des Weltraums im 21. Jahrhundert" (for the safe and sustainable use of space in the 21st century) is an international research project as well as a cooperation project between the German Aerospace Centre (DLR) and the Institute of Air Law, Space Law and Cyber Law at the University of Cologne. The result is a Manual on Space Traffic Management (STM) in the sense of traffic rules portraying a scientific study additionally.
