Abstract

This thesis focuses on non-standard preferences and its application to two different fields of economics. More specifically, it scrutinizes potential influences of non-standard preferences on contribution behavior in a social dilemma, cooperation in intertemporal decision-making and the effect of responsibility on intertemporal choices.
