Abstract

Der Artikel zeigt, wie mit Google Books und anderen großen Volltextdatenbanken neue Erkenntnisse für die Geschichte von Begriffen gewonnen werden können und welche Probleme sich dabei ergeben. Demonstriert wird dies an den Begriffen glasnost’, Standardsprache und Zweischriftigkeit.
