Abstract

Das Gesetz des Gespenstes (Derrida) wird anhand Fontanes lebenslanger Fazination für die weiße Frau, die in so gut wie allen seinen Romanen erwähnt wird, deutlich. Auch Gespenster sind nicht mit sich selbst identisch. Sie gehen sogar mit der Mode und tragen schwarz, wie es in "Vor dem Sturm" Fontanes heißt.
