Abstract
The Codariocalyx Motorius is already a fascinating plant with its fast movements. In this work, it is shown that its abilities reach even further, being able to sense sound and react differently to different sounds. Using a device that captures the electrical signals produced by the plant, a series of experiment shows a discriminating difference between different sounds in that signal. On that signal, a number of statistical parameters perform best for finding the differences between the treatments.
