Abstract

Die Dissertation betrachtet unter governancetheoretischer und neo-institutionalistischer Perspektive die Handlungskoordination zwischen Akteur*innen auf der regionalen Ebene der Alphabetisierung und Grundbildung. Anhand von drei Forschungsbeiträgen geht die publikationsbasierte Arbeit der übergeordneten Frage nach, welche Akteur*innen auf der regionalen Ebene der Grundbildung aktiv sind, wie sie regional agieren und mit welchen Fähigkeiten, Ressourcen, Konstellationen und Formen der Handlungskoordination sie versuchen, Angebote der Alphabetisierung und Grundbildung in ihrer Region zu institutionalisieren. Methodisch basiert die Arbeit auf einem Fallstudienvergleich sowie auf Expert*inneninerviews, die inhaltsanalytisch ausgewertet wurden. Mit ihren Ergebnissen leistet sie einen Beitrag zur organisationsbezogenen Weiterbildungsforschung, indem sie das Potenzial regionaler Netzwerke zur Bearbeitung von Struktur- und Steuerungsproblemen in der Weiterbildung fokussiert. Darüber hinaus leistet die Dissertation einen Beitrag zur Debatte der Alphabetisierung und Grundbildung in der Weiterbildung.

Translated abstract:	Abstract Language The dissertation examines the coordination of action between actors at the regional level of literacy and basic education from a governance theory and neo-institutionalist perspective. On the basis of three papers, the publication-based dissertation examines the question of which actors are active at the regional level of basic education, how they act regionally and with which skills, resources, constellations and forms of action coordination they attempt to institutionalize literacy and basic education programs in their region. Methodologically, the study is based on a multiple case studie and interviews with experts, which were evaluated using content analysis. With its results, it makes a contribution to organization-related continuing education research by focusing on the potential of regional networks to deal with structural and governance problems in continuing education. In addition, the dissertation contributes to the debate on literacy and basic education in continuing education. English
