Abstract

Mit dieser Arbeit wurde untersucht, ob für Studienteilnehmer mit einem neu diagnostizierten Multiplen Myelom, die nicht für eine Hochdosistherapie mit Stammzelltransplantation geeignet sind, durch die additive Gabe von Daratumumab zur bisherigen antineoplastischen Therapie Vor- oder Nachteile entstehen. Hierzu erfolgte eine Metaanalyse, die als Cochrane Übersichtsarbeit veröffentlicht wurde. Insgesamt wurden vier Studien mit insgesamt 1783 Teilnehmern eingeschlossen.

This doctoral thesis investigated whether the addition of daratumumab to antineoplastic therapy offers any advantages or disadvantages for participants with newly diagnosed multiple myeloma who are not eligible for high-dose therapy with stem cell transplantation. To address this question, a meta-analysis was conducted and published as a Cochrane Review. A total of four studies involving 1,783 participants were included.
