Abstract

Der Beitrag analysiert die Funktion und Gestaltung von Aufgaben im Musikunterricht im Spannungsfeld von Instruktion und Konstruktion. Vor dem Hintergrund der bildungswissenschaftlichen Diskussion um Kompetenzorientierung und selbstgesteuertes Lernen werden zentrale musikdidaktische Entwürfe vergleichend betrachtet. Die Autorin zeigt, dass Aufgaben in der musikpädagogischen Praxis häufig eine instrumentelle Rolle als methodische Hilfsmittel einnehmen und weniger als Ausgangspunkt eigenständiger Lernprozesse fungieren. Zugleich verdeutlichen neuere empirische Untersuchungen die Notwendigkeit komplexer und offener Aufgabensettings, die kognitive Aktivierung, Problemlösefähigkeit sowie musikalische Gestaltungskompetenz fördern können. Im Ergebnis wird deutlich, dass die gängige Gegenüberstellung von Instruktion und Konstruktion zu kurz greift. Statt einer ideologisch aufgeladenen Dichotomie plädiert die Autorin für ein antinomisches Verständnis beider Prinzipien: Instruktive und konstruktive Elemente sind nicht gegensätzlich, sondern komplementär zu begreifen. Ein solches Verständnis ermöglicht eine differenzierte didaktische Planung, die sowohl Orientierung als auch Eigenaktivität der Lernenden berücksichtigt und damit zur Entwicklung einer reflektierten Aufgabenkultur im Musikunterricht beiträgt.

Translated abstract:	Abstract Language This article analyzes the function and design of tasks in music education in the context of instruction and construction. Against the backdrop of the educational science debate on competence orientation and self-directed learning, key music education concepts are examined comparatively. The author shows that tasks in music education practice often play an instrumental role as methodological aids and function less as a starting point for independent learning processes. At the same time, recent empirical studies highlight the need for complex and open task settings that can promote cognitive activation, problem-solving skills, and musical creativity. The result clearly shows that the common contrast between instruction and construction falls short. Instead of an ideologically charged dichotomy, the author advocates an antinomic understanding of both principles: instructive and constructive elements are not to be understood as opposites, but as complementary. Such an understanding enables differentiated didactic planning that takes into account both the orientation and independent activity of learners, thus contributing to the development of a reflective task culture in music education.
