Abstract

As arthroscopy of the elbow becomes more feasible in clinical practice, treatment of fractures around the elbow joint using minimally invasive approaches seems attractive; however, the existing literature is limited to case reports and small case series. The purpose of this article is to summarize the existing literature and the evidence as well as to provide a description of techniques for arthroscopically assisted treatment of elbow fractures. A detailed description is provided for known indications, such as radial head fractures, coronoid fractures, fractures of the capitulum of the humerus and lateral condyle fractures in children.
