Abstract

La “actualización” del modelo socioeconómico cubano está avanzado gradualmente desde el año 2011 con metas claras, pero un derrotero aún incierto. El alcance de este proceso de transformación es amplio e integral, incluso tomando en cuenta los cambios realizados durante los años noventa. Mientras gran parte de la literatura suele enfocarse en los cambios de la macro estructura del país, la presente investigación, que se sitúa en la interfaz entre historiografía y las ciencias sociales, analiza desde la micro perspectiva subjetiva las contribuciones de los actores del sector no estatal a la construcción del nuevo modelo socioeconómico cubano desde su empeño laboral-empresarial cotidiano. A través del diseño interdisciplinario se logra vincular el micro nivel de los actores-emprendedores con el macro nivel del contexto histórico institucional-legal, analizando las nuevas regulaciones sobre el trabajo por cuenta propia, las cooperativas no agropecuarias, el nuevo código de trabajo y la nueva ley del sistema tributario. Los resultados de la presente investigación revelan que el modelo estado-céntrico se ve desafiado por el espíritu creativo y proactivo de los ciudadanos empoderados, conscientes y responsables que desean desencadenar sus fuerzas productivas e impulsar innovaciones sociales que engendra el trabajo cooperado y solidario.

The "updating" of the Cuban socioeconomic model is gradually advancing since 2011 with clear goals, but a still uncertain path. The scope of this transformation process is broad and comprehensive, even taking into account the reforms of the 1990s. While much of the literature tends to focus on reforms of the country's macro-structure, this research, which is situated at the interface between historiography and social sciences, analyzes from a micro-subjective perspective the contributions of non-state actors to the construction of the new Cuban socioeconomic model from their daily labor-business commitment. Through the interdisciplinary design, the micro level of the actors-entrepreneurs is linked to the macro level of the institutional-legal historical context, analyzing the new regulations on self-employment, non-agricultural cooperatives, the new labor code and the new tax system law. The results of this research reveal that the state-centered model is challenged by the creative and proactive spirit of empowered, conscious and responsible citizens who wish to unleash their productive forces and drive social innovations engendered by cooperative and socially engaged work.
